Thunderhill in the Summer

Take a drive up to the hill and enjoy the beauty that this area has to offer. You might even see some wildlife along the way. Take the time to enjoy hiking, horseback riding or bird watch. You can also check out the diamond shale bank and the magnetic hill. Ask the locals for more information on how to find these areas.

2016 Trail Map

In the summer the ski area is been used for mountain biking and is one of the best mountain biking areas in the province. Please be kind and stay on the marked trails and off the ski slopes. The bike trails are multi-use trails, with the exception of ATV's, Dirtbikes, and snowmobiles.

As Swan Valley’s only cycling club, our purpose is to promote and develop interest and participation in cycling within the Swan Valley area of Manitoba.

  • Joining the club as an active member means that you care about keeping the multi-use trails at Thunderhill open for everyone to enjoy.  Your membership supports the trail builders, club events, and insurance that covers all trail users.  By supporting the club you are helping build our trail network to become one of the best in Manitoba.
